To be sure, the Brass Razoo was an impressive logistical achievement – a Wellingtonian effort – but the St. Stephen’s match; well, that could so easily have been the club’s Waterloo. (From the French side, obviously.) I still find it hard to believe that we staked our very existence on four games, with Nada on debut, Russell clearly having a conflict of interest, Miguelo returning from several years’ exile stemming from that unfortunate business at the Tin Corrupt...
